If you currently have a pipe organ, Allen Organ Studios Delmar NY can help integrate a new digital Allen Organ console to work in conjunction with your current ranks!
Allen Organs has built literally thousands of what are termed “hybrid” or “digital/pipe combination” instruments around the world, utilizing both the tradition of wind-blown pipes combined with 21st century digital technology.
Hybrid projects can be brand new instruments with a new maintenance-free Allen console, with new digital additions. In many cases, depending on their scaling and overall condition, pipes that are part of a current instrument can be re-used, re-voiced, re-conditioned and incorporated into the new instrument’s specification. In this manner, the church preserves the history and heritage of their instrument from past memorial gifts, thereby being included in a new low maintenance hybrid instrument with a new console and digital additions.
If your church currently owns a pipe organ, we will be glad to provide an on-site evaluation of your current instrument at no charge. We will then provide several options for the church to consider.

THE ALLEN ORGAN ADVANTAGE
HYBRID – CASE STUDIES
HYBRID – ORGAN SUMMARY
Allen Organ Studios Delmar NY’s parent company Church Organ Sales, Inc. also has a pipe organ division, Church Organ Sales and Service, or COSS. COSS maintains about 75 pipe organs throughout the region, including the 2 largest instruments in the Capital Region of New York. COSS provides all the pipe components for our hybrid instruments.
Our studio organ, pictured here, allows us to add 4 ranks of exposed pipework to any new Allen console for the purposes of demonstrating how this process works within our own facility.

“We couldn’t be happier, nor could we be more impressed with the attention to every detail exhibited by our Allen dealer and the Allen Organ Company.
I am astounded by the digital sounds and honestly cannot tell where the pipework sounds end and the digital begin! The technology which Allen uses to reproduce the sounds of notable instruments around the world surpasses the efforts of other organ companies.”

The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary – Dickson City, PA
Allen Organ Studios Delmar NY was honored to be a part of this installation in conjunction with the installing dealer, Robert Sides Music of Williamsport, PA. The rewarding part of this is the fact that we supervised the installation and performed ALL the voicing and tonal finishing for the project. The result is a simply stunning sound in an amazingly beautiful church! The 7 seconds of natural reverb isn’t bad either!
World renowned organist Maestro Hector Olivera performed the dedicatory concert. Click link below for an improvisation by Hector Olivera on this organ.
